    Deep-engraved Creature Comfort Tropicalia STARR 'X' Wall-Mounted Bottle Opener—part of our six-piece German-cast series honoring the 100th anniversary of the original Thomas Hamilton patent, issued on April 21, 1925 and the Incorporation of Brown Manufacturing Company on June 8th, 1925.   Only 36 Creature Comfort Tropicalia openers, each engraved with '1925–2025', were produced. The logos reflect some of my (David Brim’s) personal experiences of living in Decatur and running Brown Mfg. Company in Avondale Estates.

    As a bottle opener manufacturer, I have a soft spot for bottled beer. It used to be SweetWater 420, which was Georgia's biggest selling craft beer. But since The Imperial didn’t carry it in bottles, I switched to Boulevard Doublewide IPA. When they stopped offering that, I threw the towel in and started drinking Tropicalia IPA on tap. Creature Comforts, based in Athens, GA, is now the largest stand-alone craft brewery in the state. SweetWater used to hold that title, but after being sold, it's now part of a larger company.
